My Story
Going through high school was a challenge. I had a very hard time keeping up with my studies and I was really stubborn and I did not want to ask for help. I thought I could handle everything on my own as my parents had done before me. I was constantly annoyed that I was not doing well. I started to close myself off and I kept telling myself that once I graduate and go to college it would get better. Suprise, it did not get any better. I made the mistake of moving to a different state for college before I was ready to leave my family, I lasted about a year. I was not ready to face the reality of actually being on my own. I came back home defeated, not ready to give up just yet though. I applied at a college in my home state and took my time to adjust. I am still struggling but it is getting better day by day, I learned that if I tried to rush through things they would never turn out the way I want them to, it is better to just take my time and do it right the first time. I am still learning to accept help from those who offer it though.
Elementary/ Middle School

College
Taking the next step into your future
Not gonna lie, college is kicking my behind, Trying to stay positive and keep my spirit up, it's hard though. Especially during times like this. We are all studying to better our lives and in reality, see if we can leave our mark. I have always been taught that you can learn from others as much as they can from you. So let's talk, maybe there are things we can learn from each other.

In all honesty, lately, I have been feeling like all I ever do is let others down. I realized that is because all I ever do is try to live up to the expectations another set for me and not focus on the ones I set for myself, I am making a change. Day by Day
