Ok. I need to say thank you to those amazing teachers that I have had in the past, they gave me my love for school. Even my bad teachers who made me doubt myself, they gave me motivation to keep going in my studies. Because of all that, I love my job. I love getting up everyday knowing I get to go help students learn and grow. I love seeing the joy on there faces when they learn something new, or when they are finally able to understand a concept that they could not understand in class. Since we are in COVID times I get to go to their homes and teach them their lesson plans since E-learning is not for everyone. If by now you don't realize that I love being a tutor/Homeschool teacher, I am not sure how else to explain it. My job is a blessing because I get to do what I am studying to do. I am in college to be a full fletched teacher at the moment I get to practice what I learn in the classroom on my students and I love it.
There are days when I get a little annoyed or have trouble communicating with the kids but it is those moments that I get to see how else I can teach or find a new method to relay information to my kiddos. I am truly blessed that I am able to help influence these kids lives. I peek everything COVID safe, I wear a mask, wash hands often and immediately jump in the shower after I get home from teaching.
I miss a lot about Pre-COVID times, like seeing my friends, being able to go out and have to wear a mask, and even something as simple as walk into a work place and not necessarily have an appointment, for right now I will keep my students safe and I will keep missing those times BUT I will keep a positive mind and keep looking forward to what I love doing.
One day I hope to help out as many people as I can. I want to be able to assist in as many communities as I can, in as many countries as I can. I have learned so much from my teachers and from my students, and the most important thing I have learned is: "Regardless of someone's nationality, religion, financial status, etc., everyone deserves a good education."
